Sustainable Agriculture Pilot Program

Project Overview: Launching a pilot program to promote sustainable agriculture practices among smallholder farmers. 

Objectives:

  • Provide training and education on sustainable farming techniques such as conservation tillage, crop rotation, and organic pest management.
  • Introduce low-cost and low-tech solutions for soil conservation, water management, and renewable energy adoption.
  • Establish farmer cooperatives and support networks to facilitate knowledge sharing and collective action. Outcomes: Enhanced soil health, increased resilience to climate change, improved livelihoods for participating farmers, and positive environmental impacts within the local community.
